Services is registered to provide a range of Medicare and Private Health
Insurance Rebates.
For NDIS funded clients, MSLS can provide Speech
Pathology services if the client is Self Managed
or Plan Managed with an authorised NDIS Plan Manager.

|
|
|
|
MSLS can service Self-Managed or
Plan-Managed clients who are NDIS funded.
MSLS is not a NDIS Manager, meaning
that clients must be either Self-Managed or Plan-Managed with an
authorised NDIS Plan Manager.

Medicare’s
Chronic Disease Management
|
|
|
|
This program enables you to claim a
rebate for 5 Allied Health sessions per calendar year. For each of
the 5 sessions you can receive a partial rebate.
|
|
|
|
Chronic Disease Management referrals
and team plans are completed by your GP. After the fees have been
paid to Melbourne Speech and Language Services, you can take your
receipt to Medicare and claim the rebate. There will be a gap between
Melbourne Speech and Language Services fees and the Medicare rebate,
which parents or carers will need to cover.

Private Health
Funds
|
|
|
|
Melbourne Speech and Language Services clinicians are
recognized by most private health funds. We advise you contact your
individual health insurance fund to see if your specific level of
cover entitles you to a rebate for Speech Language Pathology Services.
